Hi, I'm Anthony — founder of Tailored Destination and a Central Ohio-based travel agent with a genuine obsession with travel planning.

My journey into this career started the way the best ones do: with a passion I couldn't ignore. My first international trip to Barcelona opened my eyes to European culture in a way I wasn't prepared for, and I was immediately hooked. Since then I've traveled extensively across Europe — London, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Athens, Santorini, Istanbul, Croatia, Switzerland, Portugal, and all across Italy and Spain — and throughout the Caribbean, including a destination wedding with my wife in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Traveling became such a central part of my life that even when I wasn't on a trip, I was deep in research for the next one. Friends and family started coming to me for advice, and more than once, my wife walked past me on the phone giving detailed recommendations about a city I'd never even visited — just from the hours I'd spent researching it. Eventually, after listening to a podcast that hit me hard with the message of doing work you're truly passionate about, I decided to make it official.

That's when Tailored Destination was born.

Why I Do This

I believe every vacation should feel like it was designed specifically for the person taking it — not pulled from a template or thrown together by an algorithm. The difference between a good trip and an unforgettable one often comes down to the details: the right neighborhood, the right hotel, the right activity on the right day.

I've learned some of those lessons the hard way. On my first trip to Paris, a friend booked our hotel based on a star rating and a few photos — without checking the location or the surrounding neighborhood. Let's just say it wasn't the Paris experience either of us had envisioned. That experience shaped how I approach every booking I make for my clients: location matters, context matters, and the details that don't show up in search results matter most of all.

I've been fortunate to experience trips I'd describe as truly once-in-a-lifetime — and I plan on experiencing many more. More importantly, I look forward to helping you experience yours, whether it's your first one or your next one.
